No air pump used, no nutrients used, I just utilized water from my in the house fish tank. I enjoyed a video clip from the mhp gardener & needed to offer it a try. This is the best growing that I have probably done. I still can’t believe it worked.

  1. Thanks!

  2. That’s pretty cool. It could be a great way to overwinter various plants. Especially something slow growing like peppers. Good job Larry.

  3. indoorharvestgardens

i’m making one too after seeing bobby’s video with a spin as well. looks like it works. the smell was most likely remaining nutrients/dirt from it being in dirt. good experiment ;)-

  4. The pepper looks good Larry. I like the simplicity. I may do a hand water system in the greenhouse this spring using coco fibre. I’d like to develop a system that’s hand operated to get away from the reliance of electricity.Even if I have hand water buckets. I’ll be trying the Kratky method as well by duplicating Bobbys raft style. great job with the pepper bro you can see definite improvement. great jobe bro! Brock

  5. I also watched Bobby’s video a couple of weeks ago and have been meaning to give it a try. Seems like it would be very efficient way of doing lettuce and other leafy greens.
    Thanks for sharing!

  16. Thank you very much for posting this Larry. I’m about to retire and hope to get to play with off the grid hydroponics. I think there is opportunity to fine tune this and explore it’s potential. It will be really interesting to see if the growth rate changes as the new roots take over and develop more total mass. Also how it grows when it sees real sunshine after winter. I subscribed and await your progress. Keep posting!

  17. Nice! Keep us posted!

  18. “Most likely” could be but I wonder. Jumping to conclusions or making assumptions can be counter productive. Every detail must be factored. Roots are damaged pretty easily, I suspect. If rinsed off with municipal water that has traces chlorine. That might have be a factor. The odor is data that should not be over looked. That suggests they died and the plant is starting to replace that part now. I don’t know, I’m just saying. Paying attention to details may pay off greatly, more if shared. SS

  19. Nice clip Larry… Good result with just the fish water…

  20. Thanks Rob!

  23. Thanks, I agree. I wasn’t sure if this would work, but making videos is a good way to make a gardening log.Paying attention to details I think is a must when your trying something new. This spring i’m going to invest into better metering so I can have a better understanding on whats going on.

  24. Wow thanks for showing it can be done really thanks alot
